Description
Barcombe Farm House is a house dating from the mid-16th century. It is timber framed, with the lower part built in whitewashed brick and the upper part featuring whitewashed brick infill. The roof is plain tiled, hipped, and has a gablet on the right side. The house is positioned at right angles to the street and has two storeys. It features three large bays, with a large rebuilt ridge stack to the left of center, a truncated stack at the front left of center, and an end stack on the right. The first floor has diagonal tension bracing and diamond pane, leaded casement windows, including three 3-light windows and two single-light windows. The ground floor has three windows and a half-glazed door to the left of center. To the left of the main structure, there is a single-storey range with a hip roof, covered in machine tiles.
