Description
The Old School House is a house dating from the late 16th century. It features a timber frame set on a rendered plinth with brown brick infill and has plain tiled roofs, which are half-hipped over the outer bays. The building stands two storeys high with attics in the outer bays and has cross wings at each end. There are stacks at the angles of the wings and at the rear. The windows are a mix of casement styles, including a 4-light leaded casement on the first floor to the left and one below it, both under a pentice hood. To the right-hand wing, there is one 3-light leaded casement on each floor, and two casements are located to the first floor left of centre. The ground floor has two windows. A 20th-century brick hipped roof porch is situated to the right of centre and features a ribbed door.
