Description

The former hop drying building located to the northeast of Lower House Farmhouse dates from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof with raised verges and a brick modillion cornice. The building has two storeys and is arranged in three plus three bays. It includes two- and three-light casement windows with cambered heads, as well as plank doors positioned at the center and on each side. A louvred vent is situated at the center of the ridge. This building is part of an important farm group.
