Description

This outbuilding, located about 30 yards southeast of Charlton House Farmhouse, dates from the late 19th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill and a brick gable end on the southwest side, topped with a tiled roof. The building has a two-bay plan and is single-storey with a garret. The farmyard side includes a wood mullioned window and two adjacent timber doors in the right bay. The northeast and rear elevations display arch-braces in the wall frame. Inside, there is an interrupted tie-beam truss and a timber winder staircase located in the right bay.
