Description
The outbuilding to the north-east of Manor Farmhouse is a former stable and outbuilding from the 18th century, which was remodeled in the 19th century. It is constructed from Portland stone rubble with dressed quoins and features a slate roof. This long, gabled single-storey shed has a small lean-to at the western end, closest to Manor Farmhouse. The southern front has three small two-light casement windows and four doors. The eastern return gable has a casement window, while the western gable showcases good 18th-century brickwork, featuring a loading opening above a two-light cast-iron casement window with diamond panes. The long side facing Camp Road has a wide opening filled with corrugated iron. Inside, the roof is supported by light queen-post or king-post trusses. The building is included mainly for its group value with the nearby Manor Farmhouse.
