Description
Prospect House is a house located at the end of a row in Wyke Regis, Weymouth, dating from the early 19th century. The front is rendered and scribed, while the left gable is made of painted rubble, topped with a slate roof. This wide span gabled building has its end gable positioned at an obtuse angle, following the site line, and it may have originally been two houses. The house is two storeys tall with two windows, featuring original 16-pane sash windows set in reveals with stone sills, although the ground floor right window has been modified, likely as a later replacement. To the off-centre right, there is a flush six-panel door with a transom and radial fanlight, which is accessed by two stone steps. A further door on the far right has been blocked, but the step remains. The building has brick gable stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
