Description

31 Snow Hill is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick with stone dressings and features a concrete tile roof with a brick chimney. The building stands three storeys tall and has a two-window range, topped with a cornice that has modillions. The ground floor includes a 20th-century shop front and an elliptical-headed carriage entry with a rusticated arch. On the first floor, there are windows with rusticated wedge lintels and fluted keystones above 12-pane sash windows with moulded frames. The second floor features 6-pane sash windows. A truncated cross-axial stack is present. The building is part of a surviving row from the 18th century. The interior has not been inspected.
