Description
Snow Hill Post Office is a house that has been converted into a post office, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings, with the right bay painted. The building features a slate roof and brick stacks, and it stands three storeys tall with a three-window range. The top of the building has a frieze and cornice. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front, while the first floor contains windows with rusticated wedge lintels and fluted keys above 12-pane sash windows. The second floor features 9-pane sash windows. There are end stacks on the building. The interior has not been inspected. This post office is part of a surviving row of 18th-century buildings, and the right-hand bay includes an entrance to No. 30.
