Description
Two houses, now shops, located at 36 and 37 Snow Hill, were built in the mid to late 18th century. They are constructed of plastered brick with stone dressings and feature a tile roof with brick stacks. The buildings stand three storeys high and have a three-window range. A prominent cornice with modillions runs along the top. The ground floor includes shop fronts on either side of the entrance. On the first floor, the windows are adorned with rusticated wedge lintels and fluted keystones, and all windows have casements. The left end window on the first floor is an inserted mid-20th century oriel. There are end stacks. The interior has not been inspected. These houses are part of a surviving row from the 18th century.
