GV II 1897, for C J Company and in an Arts and Crafts Gothic style. Brick and terracotta; slate roof. Three storeys plus attic; three bays. Ground floor with modern shop front. First floor with a central rectangular window and two canted bay windows with ogee heads to the centre lights and pretty, detached scrolly members. Second floor with windows similar to those of the first floor but all surmounted by blank arcading. In the attic, a central polygonal cupola with two three-light flat-headed casement dormer windows. Lush bands of foliage at first and second floor levels.
