Description
Nos 121 and 123 on Edmund Street, built around 1900, are three-storey buildings with an attic, constructed of brick and topped with a slate roof. The ground floor is made of stone and features a central window flanked by broad pilasters, along with two arched entrances that have leaded lights above and thin pilasters on the outside. These pilasters support an entablature. The first and second floors each have three windows, with the second-floor windows being slightly shorter than those on the first floor. The second-floor windows are set in eared moulded surrounds and feature blind balconies with elaborate heads. The buildings have a heavy bracketed eaves cornice adorned with rosettes and a blocking course. The entrance on the corner is framed by a pedimented eared surround with volutes on the sides.
