Description

EDMUND STREET 1. 5104 (south-east side) City Centre B3 No 133 SP 0687 SE 29/22 II GV 2. 1895. Brick with stucco dressings; slate roof. Three storeys plus attic; 3 bays. Ground floor with a 4-light window with transom and a door beneath an open segmental pediment carried on elongated brackets. First and second floors each with 3 cross-windows, those of the second floor with, at their heads, a blank panel that forms part of the decorative frieze to the bracketed cornice above. The windows all with leaded lights and with stucco bands at head, centre and sill level right across the facade. Parapet with upswept ends broken in the centre by a 4-light flat-headed dormer window in front of the roof that rises above.
