Description
Nos 125 to 131 on Edmund Street, built around 1900, were formerly doctors' chambers. The building features a stone ground floor with the upper sections made of brick and stone dressings. It stands four storeys tall and has four bays arranged in a 2:2 rhythm, with each pair of bays topped by gables. The ground floor is designed with a sequence of entrances and shop fronts. The first floor showcases four oriel windows that extend through two storeys and are paired at the top. The third floor includes two large 7-light transomed windows. The gables are adorned with ironwork typical of the period.
