24, Wellington Road B15

No. 24 Wellington Road is a detached villa built around 1840, featuring two storeys and three bays, with a stucco exterior and a coach house. The building has a plinth and the ground floor is channelled up to the first-floor sill band. It is accented by giant quoin pilasters, and the capital moulding extends as a bed mould to the boxed eaves of the low-pitched gable end slate roof. There are brick chimney stacks present.

The first-floor windows are revealed glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor windows have broad segmental arches with grooved voussoirs and tripartite plate glazing, likely a replacement from around 1860 for the original sashes set in stucco panels. The doorway features pilaster strips with a cornice that breaks over supporting consoles, and similar end breaks are found on the blocking course with a central panel. The entrance includes a four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight in an architrave case and shallow reveals. To the north side, there is a narrow two-storey coach house that connects with the coach house of No. 23.
