25, Wellington Road B15

25 Wellington Road is a Grade II listed detached villa from around 1840, located on the corner with Charlotte Road in Edgbaston. This modest two-storey building features a symmetrical front with three bays. The façade is adorned with quoin pilasters that support an eaves entablature, and it has a plinth and a moulded sill course on the first floor. The hipped slate roof is complemented by red brick chimneys with cornices on either side.

The villa has revealed sash windows, with no glazing bars on the first floor, while the ground floor windows are framed by architrave surrounds that extend down to the plinth, featuring inset sills and shallow aprons. A broad projecting doorway is accentuated by pilaster strips and has decorated consoles that support a projecting cornice. The entrance includes a panelled door flanked by narrow sidelights. The side facing Charlotte Road is finished in stucco, while the garden elevation is made of red brick and includes a pilastered garden doorway and a later canted bay.
