Description
This is an 18th-century and 19th-century boundary wall, located on Wellington Road in Edgbaston. The red brick boundary wall, dating from approximately 1820 to 1830, sweeps upwards to plain gate piers at its northern end and returns to connect with a Gothic coach house dating from approximately 1860 to 1870. The wall is built of red brick with black lozenge diaperwork. The coach house has a very steep pitch to its gable end roof, with bands of scalloped tiles and pierced bargeboards.
