Description
Nos 318 and 320 on Hamstead Road are a pair of semi-detached villas built around 1830. They are designed as one composition and stand two storeys tall, with a stucco façade. Each villa has three bays and features a low-pitched hipped slate roof with flat eaves and a central chimney stack that is corniced and stuccoed. The windows are revealed glazing barred sashes, each with a block sill supported by shallow moulded consoles. At each end, there are recessed porches with openings that have shallow block pediments topped with anthemion acroteria. The entrances consist of four-panelled doors set in panelled reveals, accompanied by rectangular fanlights with marginal glazing.
