Description

Woodlands is a pair of semi-detached houses located at No 34 and No 36 Handsworth Wood Road, dating from the late 18th century. The houses are constructed of brick and feature a slate roof. They stand two storeys tall and have four bays. On the ground floor, there are outer late 19th-century canted bay windows and two panelled doors with panelled reveals and fanlights, which are set between Tuscan columns that support a broken pediment. The first floor has four windows with reeded lintels and cornices on brackets. The windows of No 36 have later thin mullions and transoms with leaded lights, while No 34 features sashes that include glazing bars.
