Description
This is a stable block dating from the 18th century, located southwest of Home Farmhouse in Lower Tysoe. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a roof made of corrugated iron over thatch. The building has four bays. On the center left, there is a stable door with a wooden lintel. In the center and far right, there are two additional plank doors, both also with wooden lintels. The center of the building includes a wooden casement window with a wooden lintel and a vent above it. To the left, there is a small single light window with a stone surround.
Inside, the stable block retains original tie beam trusses with collars. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
