Description
The stableblock, located to the west of the Manor House, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with tooled gritstone dressings. The building features stone bracketed eaves and a stone slate roof, along with a stone side wall stack. It is two storeys high and consists of two bays. On the north side, there is a flush quoined doorcase with a thin plain overlight above a plank door. To the south, there are two small pane 20th-century casements set under large lintels. Above these, there are two similar windows with thin breathers between them and over the door. This stableblock is included in the listing for its group value with the Manor House.
