Description
This is a 17th-century barn and attached shelter shed located approximately 12 meters north of the Lower Farmhouse, which is not included in the listing. The structure is timber framed with square framing and tension braces, featuring brick infill and old tile roofs. It is a single storey with three bays and has plank doors. Inside, there are jowled posts and a queen strut roof with trenched purlins. The shelter shed, which is four bays long, is positioned at right angles to the barn on the right side. The front of the barn was filled in during the 20th century and includes three stable doors with windows. There are also two 19th-century brick pillars present.
