Description
This is a field barn and attached shelter shed located approximately 170 meters northwest of Haselor Lodge. The barn dates from the 17th century to early 18th century, while the shelter sheds may be from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The structure is timber framed with square framing and tension braces, featuring brick infill, some of which is from the 20th century. The upper part is weatherboarded, and there is a regularly coursed lias plinth with a tile roof. The shelter shed also has weatherboarding. The building is in an L-plan configuration, consisting of a three-bay barn and a three-bay shelter shed. The barn features central plank doors, and the return sides have jowled posts. Inside, there are jowled posts, low retaining walls with braces (two of which have been renewed), one queen strut, and one queen post truss. The shelter shed includes a wood trough and a hay rack, and has a simple king post roof.
