Description
Red Hill House is a farmhouse built around 1800, constructed from coursed blue lias rubble with brick dressings and a tile roof. It features a Georgian style and has two storeys with an attic. The front of the house is symmetrical with a three-window range, brick quoins, and a dentiled brick cornice at the top. The central pedimental gable adds to its architectural character. The entrance includes brick jambs and a cambered arch leading to a six-fielded-panel door. The windows have brick sills and are topped with rubbed brick cambered arches over paired four-over-four sash windows, with a central blind window on the first floor and a lunette in the pediment. At the rear, there are two lower gabled wings with small-paned casements. The left side has a gabled dormer, while the right side features a hipped dormer, and there is a hipped projection at the back. The interior has not been inspected.
