SP15NW Barn immediately east of Billesley 1931-1/1/2 Manor Hotel 05/04/67 (Formerly Listed as: Two barns at east of Billesley Manor)

GV II

Barn. C17 or C18. Coursed blue lias rubble; steeply pitched old tile roof. 4 bays. EXTERIOR: north elevation has entrance to threshing floor to left end: plank door and wood lintel. To right a wide window with brick segmental head over 5-light casement with leaded glazing, similar window with 2-light casement with latticed lights and a 3-light window with glazing bars and small opening casement. 2 pitching holes. Lower wing to west end has extensive late C20 alterations and projecting bay to end. South elevation has offset buttress to west end, which has segmental-headed entrance with paired doors; segmental-headed windows to gabled wing, with latticed glazing, and pitching hole; segmental-headed entrance with paired doors, and barn entrance to right lacking doors. Projecting open-fronted shed. Loggia to altered wing and rubble end bay with pitching hole in gabled dormer, C20 window and entrance. INTERIOR: trenched purlin roof; shed has trusses with curved principals.
