Description
The building is a barn and attached stable located immediately east of Red Hill House in Binton, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed blue lias rubble and features a tile roof.
The barn consists of four bays and has an entrance to the threshing floor, which is covered with weatherboarding over paired doors. There are ventilation slots, and the left side of the barn has an upper window with a brick segmental head. The stable has an entrance with a plank door, and the right side features an entrance with a brick segmental head accessed by an external stair. The rear of the building is similar in design.
Inside the barn, there are tie beam and collar trusses with queen struts.
