Description
Grafton Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid 19th century, located in Temple Grafton. It is constructed of dressed blue lias stone and features a slate roof with coped gables and rear stacks, showcasing a Georgian style.
The exterior consists of three storeys and has a symmetrical three-window arrangement. There is a plain top cornice, and the entrance features a plain architrave with an overlight that has decorative glazing bars above a six-fielded-panel door, along with a small lean-to canopy. The windows have sills and stone flat arches, with two-over-two horned sashes on the lower floors and three-over-three sashes in the attic. At the rear, there are two lateral stacks, a two-storey gabled wing, and a small wing.
The interior has not been inspected. The farmhouse is included for its group value.
