Farmhouse. C17 with late C19 and C20 additions and alterations. Coursed dressed blue lias with some tile-hanging; hipped and gabled renewed tile roof with tile cresting and brick end and ridge stacks. U-plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Cogged brick frieze over ground floor; tile-hung first floor. Entrance has flat arch and C20 half-glazed door. Windows have small-paned casements, those to ground floor under flat arches, those to first floor in gabled flanking raking half-dormers; one basement window to right. Single-storey outshut to right return. Rear elevation to farmyard has 2 half-hipped wings. 2 entrances, one in central part, the other in left wing, have plank doors. Varied windows have small-paned casements. Hipped dormer on left. Left return catslide outshut. Coach house attached to outer return of right wing has 3 segmental-headed entrances with paired doors; gable has first-floor entrance and pitching hole; rear catslide outshut. INTERIOR: believed to have been remodelled.
