Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates back to the 17th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The building features a timber frame with plastered, colorwashed infill, and a brick addition. It has a steeply pitched wood shingle roof, which includes a brick stack at the rear of the ridge and an end stack. The layout is a three-unit plan.
On the exterior, the farmhouse is a single storey plus an attic and has a three-window range. The entrance, located to the left of center, features a 20th-century gabled porch and a plank door. The ground floor has small square windows fitted with 20th-century two-light casements. There are four gabled dormers, each with similar casements that have wrought-iron casement fasteners. The left side of the building has a plastered gable above a collar, indicating a half-hipped gable that would have originally supported a thatched roof. The interior has not been inspected.
