Description
This dovecote, located approximately 20 meters north of Stratford-upon-Avon Grammar School for Girls, likely dates from the 17th century. It is built of rubble and features a pyramidal tile roof. The structure has a tall square plan and includes a brick plinth with a channel on each face, which may have supported pilasters or other architectural features. The roof has a lantern with dove holes, ledges, and a pyramidal top. The south face of the dovecote has an entrance that includes a timber lintel and a battened door. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
