Description
Tapestry Cottage is a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century or early 18th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and brick infill, with some areas of painted brick, and feature a thatched roof with a half-hipped end and stacks located at the rear of the ridge. The cottages have a three-unit plan and are single storey with an attic. The left end has a brick ground floor. The entrances are fitted with plank doors. The cottages exhibit irregular fenestration, with windows that include leaded casements, mostly arranged in pairs; the ground floor has six windows with two-light casements and one single light window at the left end. The first floor features four half-hipped dormers with three-light casements, and one dormer has a small two-light window below the eaves on the right side. The square framing is more regular on the left half of the building.
