Description

A barn, dating to the 17th century, was later converted into two dwellings. It features timber-frame construction with brick infill, set on a rubble plinth, along with brick additions. The roof is tiled with brick end stacks. The building follows an L-shaped layout and has two storeys with a four-window front. The left end exhibits square framing with tension braces on a high plinth, while the central section shows timber-framing with thin timbers. The right end is constructed of brick. Recessed entrances are located on either side of the central window, each with a half-glazed door. The windows are primarily casements with single or two lights, and a three-light window is present on the ground floor to the right end. A small window is situated in the center of the first floor, all with leaded glazing. The left return side is similar in style. The rear features a timber-framed gable. It is believed the barn was extended to the right before its conversion to dwellings; the central section originally contained barn doors.
