Description

This is a dovecote, possibly dating from the 16th century, located about 30 metres west of Burton Court. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a slated octagonal pyramidal roof with iron ridges. The dovecote has a circular plan, with slightly battered walls, a simple ledge string, and a low entry on the west side. The current roof is a later addition, with the octagonal wall-plate resting on remnants of an earlier circular wall-plate.
