Description

This dovecote, located 20 metres south-west of Winterbourne Court, dates from the late medieval period and has been altered over time. It is constructed of rubble with a sturdy slate roof. The structure is circular and buttressed, featuring a single storey with a conical roof. A small lean-to is attached to one of the buttresses, and there is a low door. Inside, the dovecote contains nesting holes and three perching string courses, while the roof is supported by one circular purlin.
