Description

Firlea is a house built around 1860. It features roughcast walls, stucco, and freestone dressings, topped with slate roofs. The building has two storeys and three windows, all of which are margin glazed sashes set beneath a cornice supported by brackets. At each end, there are pilasters, and central pilasters flank a porch that has a recessed plank door with a fanlight above it. This is set beneath Tuscan pilasters in antis, which are located below a frieze and cornice. The cornice is topped with a parapet, and two subsidiary pilasters support an arch.
