Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage built around 1829, featuring rubble construction with freestone dressings and stone slate roofs. The building has a picturesque gabled design and stands at one and a half storeys high, with three windows, all of which are casements. The gable on the left has a gabled bay below and a window with a label above it. The main block includes a door and a three-light window with labels, while a plain window rises above as a gabled eaves dormer. The return facing the road has a gabled bay with a Tudor arch window and another window above it, also with a label. This cottage is part of a group that complements the nearby church of St. Michael.
