Description

This is a 16th-century dovecote located to the south-west of Dinton Hall. It is constructed from coursed rubblestone and features a conical old tile roof. The dovecote has a circular plan and a low doorway on the east side. There is a small two-light gabled dormer on the west side, as well as a pyramid-roofed lantern with openings at the top of the roof. Inside, the dovecote is lined with nest boxes, and a central post allows for rotation with a ladder providing access to the nest boxes.
