Description
The gate piers located at the entrance drive to the southwest of Dinton Hall date from around 1700. They are constructed from ashlar stone and feature a chamfered plinth. Each pier is square and topped with a moulded cornice cap above a pulvinated frieze. The piers are adorned with banded ball finials that sit on ogee plinths. Notably, these piers were relocated to their current position in 1890 from a site further east.
