Description

Rose Furlong Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with alterations from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. The building is timber-framed with rendered and painted brick infill, rubble and brick, and a plain tile roof. It has two storeys and irregular window placement, with three 20th-century casement windows on the first floor. A 20th-century rubble porch is located on the left side, and a 20th-century brick porch is on the right. A single-story rubble lean-to extends from the left gable wall. The rear of the farmhouse features a late 18th-century brick wing with a dentilled brick cornice. The timber framing consists of four square panels up to the wall-plate.
