Description

The Threshing Barn is a 17th-century former barn, with 19th-century modifications. It is timber-framed and stands on a rubble plinth, with weatherboarding and a slate roof. The barn has four structural bays, featuring a flagged threshing floor in the bay south of the centre. It has square panelled wall frames, and the north gable truss has queen struts with V-struts in the apex. The south wall was reconstructed in the 19th century. The barn is the best surviving building in its farmyard complex; the remainder of the complex is not included in the listing.
