Description

The dovecote, located approximately 30 metres south-southeast of Parsonage House, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a pyramidal stone slate roof with a square plan. A timber lintel is positioned over a low plank door, and a glover, or decorative finial, surmounts the roof. Inside, there are stone nesting boxes for the birds.
