Description

Home Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse with a later range added in the 18th century. It is constructed of squared, coursed ironstone, with a slate roof shaped as an ‘M’, featuring coped stone gables. Brick stacks are visible at the ends. The farmhouse has ironstone quoins and a double-depth plan. It is two storeys high and has a 3-window front. The central entrance has a 4-panelled door with an overlight, now within a 20th-century porch. The entrance is flanked by sashes with stone surrounds, each containing 12 panes. Three similar sashes are located on the first floor. An earlier range exists to the rear of the main building. The interior has not been inspected.
