Description
Ivy House Farmhouse is a mid to late 17th-century farmhouse that has been altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features a glazed pantile roof, along with brick stacks at the ends and along the ridge. The building has a three-unit plan and is two stories high, with a three-window range.
The entrance has 20th-century part-glazed doors on either side of the center, topped with flat-arched stone lintels. The ground floor includes three-light casement windows on the left and in the center, both with wood lintels, as well as a two-light 20th-century casement window to the left of center, also with a wood lintel. To the far right, there is a two-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion window. The first floor features 16-pane sash windows, all with wood lintels. The eaves are chamfered. The interior has not been inspected.
