Description
Pool Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with later alterations, constructed from coursed, squared ironstone and topped with a slate roof. It features renewed brick ridge and end stacks and has a three-unit plan. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range. There are two entrances on the left and right, each with panelled or glazed doors and slated, gabled hoods. The right entrance is flanked by a three-light straight splay stone mullion window with a hood mould and label stop, as well as a renewed window in the original opening, also with a hood mould and label stop. On the left side, there is a three-light fixed window and a 20th-century window, both with painted wood lintels. The first floor has a mix of single, two-light, and three-light 20th-century windows, all with painted wood lintels. The farmhouse features ironstone quoins. The interior has not been inspected.
