Description
Berry Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of coursed squared ironstone with a slate roof. It features brick ridge and end stacks and has a three-unit plan across two storeys. The front has a three-window range, with an off-centre entrance to the left that includes a panelled and glazed door topped with a wood lintel. To the right of the door is a three-light 18th-century metal casement window with a painted wood lintel, alongside a 20th-century window. The attic contains three metal casement windows in wood frames, featuring painted wood lintels. Wrought-iron casement fasteners are present, and there is a slated bread oven projection to the right of the door. The interior has not been inspected.
