GV II

House. C18 with later alterations. Brick with stucco front; steeply pitched renewed tile roof with brick cross-axial stack and end stacks. 2-unit plan to street. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Top moulded brick cornice. Steps up to central entrance with moulded frame to C20 plank door; passageway entrance to left end has scored wedge lintel over plank door in pegged frame. Central entrance flanked by bay windows with small-paned glazing, that to right wider, with flat roofs continued as canopy over entrance. First floor has 2 windows with sills and 3-light transomed small-paned casements with iron opening casements, and blind window to left; all have scored rusticated wedge lintels. 2 attic windows to right return. Large late C19 rear wing. INTERIOR: not inspected.
