Description
This house stands on the east side of High Street, Henley-in-Arden. It dates from the 17th century, with later alterations in the late 18th century. The original timber frame has been covered with painted brickwork in a Flemish bond pattern. The roof is covered in gabled old tile, with renewed eaves, and a brick end stack has been removed. The house was originally two units wide, facing the street.
The exterior is two storeys high with a two-window front. A decorative brick cornice runs along the top. A stable-style door is located to the left of the centre. To the left of the door is a small-paned bay window with a 1:2:1 arrangement. To the right is a similar bay window with a 1:3:1 arrangement, and has an iron opening casement. The first floor has windows with two-light small-paned casements operated by iron casements. A wall stud is visible at the right-hand end of the building.
The interior of the property was not inspected during the listing process.
