Description
The Methodist Church, dated 1809, is a chapel constructed of brick in Flemish bond, featuring a plinth, some ashlar dressings, and a stone-coped gable. It has a moulded brick dentilled eaves cornice and a slate roof. The building is two stories high and has a two-window range of early 19th century Gothick casements with rubbed brick surrounds. At the center, there is a gabled porch with a plank door and a flat hood supported by brackets. Above the porch is a datestone inscribed with 'METHODIST/CHAPEL/ERECTED/1809'. Additional early 19th century Gothick casements are present on the sides and rear. The interior includes a west gallery.
