Unitarian chapel. 1819. Red brick in Flemish bond, ashlar quoins, plinth and dressings. Brown brick to side walls, hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves on paired brackets. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3-bay front, stone plinth with central double doors, with flush panels, and Gothick fanlight. 4 stone steps. Flanked by single glazing bar with Gothick fanlights. To 1st floor a central shaped stone plaque with worn inscription, flanked by single glazing bar sashes with segmental shaped heads to top sashes. All openings have double recesses, semicircular headed to ground floor and segmental to 1st floor, with painted ashlar impost and sill blocks. Side elevations have 3 tall sash windows to ground floor, and 3 blanks to upper floor, with cambered brick arches. Rear elevation has central ashlar plaque inscribed 'Built MDCCCXIX' and 2 round-headed Gothick sash windows. INTERIOR: retains panelled rear gallery on fluted Doric columns with contemporary stick baluster staircase.
