Description

6 and 8 Sibsey Lane are a pair of cottages built in the 18th century. They are constructed of whitewashed and red brick with pantile roofs featuring brick coped gables, and No. 6 has tumbling. The cottages are two storeys tall, with attics in No. 6, and have a four-bay front. Each house has an off-centre half-glazed door flanked by single margin light sash windows. On the first floor, there are four margin light sashes, with the right-hand pair positioned at the eaves. All other openings have cambered brick heads. In the roof, there is a single Yorkshire sash window in a raking dormer with rendered cheeks. The interior has not been inspected.
