Description

This cottage, located to the rear of Number 15 High Street, dates back to the 16th century, with additions and alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber frame with close studding, whitewashed brick, and plaster infill, while the right section is constructed of roughcast brick. The roof is tiled, and there is a brick ridge stack. The cottage has a three-unit plan, is a single storey, and has a three-window range. A plank door with a heavy wood frame is situated at the right end, although the window lights have been destroyed. The left return wall has been largely rebuilt in brick, and there is a small outbuilding attached on the right. An inspection of the rear and interior was not possible.
